Adding a Flash Introduction to your WebSite Complete project
Flash Animations are used to grab the visitor's attention and make the person interested in what your site has to offer. Because Flash is a very efficient technology, download times for these animations are minimal.
Full Page Flash Animations are used as introductions to your Web site, and are short animations that play for your visitors just before your home page displays. Flash Clips are smaller sized animations that can be used on any page of your Web site.
To Add a Flash Introduction to Your WebSite Complete Project
- Open WebSite Complete, and load your project.
- Click Add Page from the toolbar.
- From the Select Page Type list, select Flash Intro .
Though Flash runs from the visitor's browser, WebSite Complete needs help from a server to generate it. After you select the Flash Intro Page, the new page wizard connects you to a one of our servers. Different animations are customizable in different ways. Follow the prompts to select and customize an animation that fits your Web site.
To make changes to a Flash Intro Page later, bring up the page within WebSite Complete and right-click on it. This will give you the option to modify the page. Be sure to republish your Web site so that the changes take effect.
