What are Premium Listings?
You can increase exposure to the domains you want to sell by adding Premium Listings to them. A Premium Listing allows you to list your domains through the Domain Distribution Network and on our Web site. Customers see Premium Listings in the More Options area on the Premium Domain Names tab, which displays when they look up or purchase domains. For more information about listing a domain, see Adding Premium Listings to Domains.
We also add your Premium Listings to The Domain Name Aftermarket (TDNAM) if:
- You have an active membership with TDNAM.
- The domain to which you want to add Premium Listing is not currently listed on TDNAM.
- You defined a PayPal or Good As Gold payment method prior to purchasing the Premium Listing.
NOTE: If your domain sells through TDNAM, you pay the standard TDNAM commission fees - not the commission fee you enter in the Domain Manager.
You can list .COM and .NET domains. However, we do not list international domains, domains that have transfer protection, such as Protected Registration, or domains that potentially infringe a trademark or include misspellings. If your domain is denied the Premium Listing, you can request a refund.
When you add a Premium Listing to your domain, you can specify the amount of commission you're willing to offer in exchange for selling your domain and the domain price. You can enter an amount between 32% and 62%, 2% of which goes to the Domain Distribution Network.
We submit your Premium Listings to be appraised and tell you the price range at which your domain should sell and our recommended selling price. You can check your Premium Listings to determine whether the price you set falls within the price range, and you can adjust the price accordingly.
You can further increase visibility for your Premium Listings by increasing the commission. The larger the commission offered, the more visibility your domain receives on our Web site when customers search for a domain. For information about changing commission, see Changing the Premium Listings Commission for a Domain.
When we sell your domain, we subtract the commission from the selling price and send you the remaining amount on the 15th of the following month. For more information about payment, see How do I get paid for my Premium Listings?.
