Using the Customize Template Page
Here's the Lowdown: Using the Quick Blogcast Customize Template page, you can customize the design of your Quick Blogcast site.
You can customize the look of your site by updating your template's colors, images, and displayed text to match your purpose, personality, or corporate brand.
To Customize Your Template
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Manage Account next to the account you want to modify.
- From the Design Blog menu, select Customize.
- In the following fields, edit the elements you want to change:
- Header Text
- Edit the text that displays in the header of your site.
- Header Link URL (optional)
- Edit the URL that displays in the header of your site, and the select whether you want the link to open in a new window or in the same (current) window if a viewer clicks it.
- Subheader Text
- Edit the text that displays below the header. This is often a subtitle.
- Footer Text
- Edit the information that displays at the bottom of your Web page.
- Select Element
- Select an element of your template that you want to customize. Edit the selected element using the following options:
- Font/Foreground and Background
Specify if you want to edit a font/foreground color or background color, using the color picker. - Font Style and Font Size
Select a different font and/or size for the selected element. - Select Color
Using the color picker, select a color for the selected element. - Select Background
Click Browse to select a background you want to upload to your site. Click Open from the dialog box, and then click Upload. - Background Repeat
Select how the background that you selected will display on your site.
- To view your changes, click Apply Changes/Update Preview.
- Click Publish to update your live site with your changes.
