Adding and Editing Google Ads on Your Sidebar
NOTE: This feature is not available with the free version of Quick Blogcast. You are welcome to upgrade to the paid version of Quick Blogcast to gain use of the product's full features.
If you signed up for Google AdSense, you can use the identification code that Google gave you to display ads on your Web site. Add the identification code to your sidebar to display ads. The ads that display on your Web site are based on your site's content. When a visitor clicks the ad, you earn revenue. For more information about Google AdSense, see Google AdSense.
To Add Google Ads to Your Sidebar
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Manage Account next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design Blog menu, select Sidebar.
- From the Available Components list, click Google Ad, and, while holding the mouse button, drag it to the Active Components or Available Components list.
- In the Client ID field, specify the ID you received from Google when you signed up for Google AdSense.
- Click Save.
- Click the Save button in the footer of the page.
To Edit Google Ads Details on Your Sidebar
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Manage Account next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design Blog menu, select Sidebar.
- Click the Edit button for the Google® component you want to edit.
- Edit the details, and then click Save.
- Click the Save button in the footer of the page.
To Delete Google Ads from Your Sidebar
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Quick Blogcast.
- Click Manage Account next to the blog account you want to modify.
- From the Design Blog menu, select Sidebar.
- Click the Delete icon next to the Google® component you want to delete.
- Click Save.
- Click the Save button in the footer of the page.
