Changing the Template or Color Scheme of Your Web Site
Most WebSite Tonight templates use a cascading style sheet (css) to dictate the layout of content. CSS-based templates include "CSS" in their title. Using a css-based template allows you to switch to other css-based templates without having to add your content again. When you switch from one css-based template to another, your content remains. You cannot remove a template entirely. You can change your template at any time.
To Change Your Web Page Template
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, select Template and Color.
- From the Category list, select the category you want to select your template from.
NOTE: The number in parentheses indicates the number of templates in that category.
- If there are multiple pages of templates, from the Page list, you can advance to other pages to view more templates.
- Select the template you want to use.
NOTE: Only resellers can use Reseller templates. If you select to use a Reseller template, you must enter your Reseller Prog ID.
- To make a backup copy of your Web site before you change the template, select Back up Web site before changing template.
- Click OK.
- Click OK again to confirm the template change.
- From the Select a Color Theme area, select the color you want to use.
- Click OK.
To Change the Layout of Your CSS-Based or Mobile Template
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, select Page Designer .
- Go to the Page tab, and then click Change Layout .
- Select the layout you want to use.
- Click OK.
To Customize Template Colors
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, select Advanced Color Options .
- Select the template feature you want to customize .
- Use the Color Picker palette to select the color you want to use.
- Click Apply. Your new color choice is applied.
Note: To change a feature back to the default color, click Revert Color next to the color you would like to change. To change all features to their default colors, click Restore Original.
To Change Your Color Scheme
- Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
- From the Design menu, select Template and Color.
- From the Select a Color Theme area, select the color you want to use.
- Click OK.
